Went down to the dog & gun this morning and shot the VT, sorted! Had to phone the pub last week and ask if we could film before they even open as russell was only available until lunchtime and they kindly allowed us to. I will have to send them a formal thank you at the end, they have been wicked.
Ant, the presenter came down to, so was nice to chat and touch base with him too.
So, we have 2 teams, a presenter, 2 VTs, check! I think we have half a set too? And I have counted that we have 16 days, including weekends until the shoot!

Nailed the VT date for monday 18th april,and Dog & gun is tuesday or wednesay.
Eventually we found Troy..
Script is sorted. Pretty much everything is planned, yaaaaay. Today has been like our own little production office in the library. But now im hungryyyy.

As live is very very stressful! there is so much involved! most stressful thing probably is getting the contributors to commit to us, its so hard to contact them and get them to agree to dates - but we are getting somewhere.
I phoned Leslie the landlady of the dog & gun last week and she said it was absolutely fine to shoot there, spoken to Ant and he is really happy to be the presenter, so thats awesome. I think one of our team-mates is away at the moment - annoying! so just waiting on him, as the other team mates said that next week was best for them to shoot VT.
We have all come to the campus today to sort everything out - this morning we devised and played our twister game which was fun, and have emailed CAFT to tell them what we need them to make for us for that game. so thats another tick off the list.
Next this afternoon we are going to finish our VT scripts and shot list and hopefully nail a date for both VTs next week. Will and I decided, even though we are producer/director on seperate VTs ( mine being the dog & gun, wills being the fox) that we would BOTH go to both shoots to ensure that the packages look pretty much exactly the same.
tomorrow we are going down to a studio in tunbride wells to see a live news programme, which will be great for me as i'll get to see what the PA actaully does.
Although easter is coming up and im looking forward to a bit of a break, we will still all be working hard otherwise things just wont be ready in time.
